The headline in the telegraph reads that an “Armada of British naval power massing in the Gulf as Israel prepares an Iran Strike.” That title however, is not quite accurate.
In actuality, “Battleships, aircraft carriers, minesweepers and submarines from 25 nations are converging on the strategically important Strait of Hormuz in an unprecedented show of force as Israel and Iran move towards the brink of war.”
So it looks like there will be 25 nations preparing to aggressively attack Iran, although Iran has attacked no other country in over 200 years. The world against an innocent Iran should have been the headline.
If Israel is moving toward the brink of war, then why are 25 other countries involved? Why would any country be involved if Israel attacked Iran without cause, and without being attacked themselves? If the Israeli government wants to wage horrific war, then why don’t they do it on their own? Why should any other country’s citizens be put in harms way due to Israeli naked aggression?
The major fear according to the politically fed media, is that if attacked, Iran would attempt to close the Strait of Hormuz, and one third of the world’s oil shipped by sea would be blocked. Let’s take that one step further. If the Strait were blocked, and oil skyrocketed in price, so then would the price at the pump. If gas prices soared at this time, the American voter would want regime change here at home. That cannot be allowed in an election year.
If the federal government eliminated most all rights, destroyed the value of our money, spied on us without warrant, became a tyrannical police state, had the ability to detain any American indefinitely and torture them, assassinate them, waged immoral and murderous wars against innocent nations, and killed hundreds of thousands of innocents overseas, the vote would remain safely intact. I know this because all of those things have already occurred! But if gas prices were to rise, or ATM fees were to soar, the wrath of the American people would crash down on the current administration just before a November election.
This massive buildup toward war is being led by the U.S., Israel, and the U.K., but it is being reported that this giant war making effort is in preparation for any pre-emptive or retaliatory action by Iran. This buildup alone is an act of war against Iran, a war that could have horrible consequences for the entire region, and most likely the rest of the world.
How on earth could Iran, given the circumstances, prosecute any “pre-emptive” strike, when they are the country being warred against aggressively? At this point, it is 25 countries against Iran. By my logic, if this (when) war commences, the only country that will be legitimately defending itself will be Iran.
