U.S. Losing Patience With Pakistan?

Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta, said yesterday that the U.S. was losing patience with Pakistan. In and of itself, this statement is disgusting, and is the epitome of arrogance! His reasoning is ludicrous, and reeks of hypocrisy.

In an article by Reuters, Panetta said this is due to Pakistan allowing safe haven to “insurgents” from Afghanistan. “It is difficult to achieve peace in Afghanistan as long as there is safe haven for terrorists in Pakistan.”

It is important for one to remember that the U.S. and its military aggressively attacked Afghanistan, a country that never attacked the U.S., threatened to attack, or had any capability to do so. Therefore, any Afghan citizen that defends himself from an unwarranted U.S. attack, has every right to do so. But those are who the U.S. government claims are insurgents. That is a lie! According to Dictionary.com:

in-sur-gent

1. a person who rises in forcible opposition to lawful authority, especially a person who engages in armed resistance to a government or to the execution of its laws; rebel.

In order for those the U.S. claims are insurgents to actually be insurgents, they would have to by definition be opposing there own government or its laws. Therefore, if they really are insurgents, the U.S. would have to be the legitimate government of Afghanistan. In fact, the U.S. would have to have been the legitimate government even before the war began.

They are in fact, not insurgents at all, but simply protectors and defenders of their own country, and they are defending themselves from the murdering hoards of U.S. soldiers who invaded their homeland, and without cause.

After Panetta’s comments about Pakistan, another country under unwarranted and aggressive attack by the U.S. empire, the witch Hillary Clinton had the gall to defend U.S. killer drone strikes in a country the U.S. government claims is an ally. Is it just me, or is this entire conversation anything less than pure insanity? Clinton claims: “We will always maintain our right to use force against groups such as al Qaeda that have attacked us and still threaten us with imminent attack.” Clinton is saying that the U.S. has an absolute “right” to use deadly force anywhere on the planet, and in any other country it chooses to; and all without resistance!

The U.S. is currently murdering innocent people all across Pakistan with killer drone attacks. Regardless of any claim to the contrary, these attacks kill mostly civilians, and even the so-called “insurgents” targeted and killed, may simply be protecting themselves and their families from attacks by the U.S. aggressor.

The United States government now claims the “right” to attack and murder anyone on the planet. It claims the “right” to send its armies and killer drones to any country, delivering death and destruction along the way, including so-called ally nations. This should not surprise anyone, as the U.S. government is now planning to place 30,000 drones in our own country.

How long will it be until Panetta and Clinton will be losing their patience with American citizens? How long will it be until you or your neighbors become collateral damage in an attack against an “insurgent” in your neighborhood? How long will it be until we all are “insurgents?”
