Things are certainly heating up in Korea, and the U.S government is behind most of the turmoil. I will preface the rest of my statements by saying that I don’t wish for any nuclear weapons to be used in any capacity by any country, but so long as the U.S. is the world’s most prolific aggressor nation, and has more nuclear weapons than all others combined, then there should be no expectation whatsoever that other countries will abandon their nuclear programs. Why would they after all, when the nuclear armed U.S. threatens countries around the globe on a regular basis.
The United States of Imperialism continues to dictate what most any other country on earth is allowed to do. This is at once arrogant, and it is very dangerous to us all. The U.S. government, which of course is the most powerful member of the U.N., has caused the implementation of sanctions against North Korea, sanctions that can harm much of its economy. In addition, these sanctions, which are acts of war, have the ability to cripple many of the financial transactions in which North Korea is involved.
The U.S. is doing this because North Korea has the “audacity” to test its missiles that are capable of carrying a nuclear weapon. The United States has a massive nuclear arsenal, and is the only nation state that has ever used such a weapon to purposely kill hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians. Those two incidents of course were the heinous and completely unnecessary bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan, the two worst single terrorist attacks in the history of the world.
North Korea has been devastated by U.S. forces in the past when the U.S. and its military prosecuted a war of total aggression against North Korea in the Korean War. The U.S. has since that time, continued its assault on North Korea, and George Bush labeled that country as one of the infamous “axis of evil.” If any remember, he left the U.S. out of that description. North Korea isn’t helping the situation because it is a totalitarian run country, but would any of this be happening if the United States was not constantly threatening North Korea?
So what is the U.S. doing to relieve the tension building between North and South Korea? It is now involved in war games with South Korea, a move that can do nothing but escalate any heated situation in that region. The U.S. government is taunting North Korea, and this could be devastating should tempers continue to flair. This is a most dangerous game, and one that could end in death and destruction! Why?
