This is another story from AntiWar.com being told about U.S. forces purposely killing Afghan civilians. It should not to be taken lightly.
Zakeria Kandahari is an Afghan/American translator who was recently captured by Afghan forces. He has been videoed torturing Afghan civilians who were in U.S. custody, so his revelations most likely have merit. He insists that his actions were based on orders he received form the U.S. military, and given the past and current torture and assassinations openly committed by U.S. controlled personnel and assets, Kandahari’s admissions are troubling to say the least.
As reported in the above mentioned story written by Jason Ditz, the local Afghan government has been attempting to expel a U.S. special forces base in the Wardak Province of Afghanistan due to the brutalities taking place there against civilians.
“Locals have reported repeated raids from the base, with US troops on ATVs dragging people off, usually never to be seen or heard from again, though with the occasional discovery of one of their bodies not too carefully disposed off on the outskirts of the base.”
This is just one story that has recently been exposed, but how many others are still being kept hidden?
