The U.S. And Israel’s Race To War With Iran

From the Jerusalem Post yesterday, it was reported that Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, the Shas spiritual leader, begged God to “wipe out and destroy” Iran. He continued:

“When we make the blessing on the dates that ‘our enemies and haters should be ended’ we should have in mind the Iranian regime, those evil people who threaten Israel. “Do good, God, wipe them out, kill them.” The rabbi continued to say, “Destroy them God, obliterate them from the face of the earth.” Yosef must have recently read “The War Prayer” by Mark Twain.

His attitude is obviously meant to pass for religious tolerance and love of neighbor!

These comments followed high level meetings in which the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office sought to gain support from the rabbi for a strike on Iran. A meeting took place at the rabbi’s home, with Shas political leader and Interior Minister Eli Yishai, Israeli National Security Advisor Yaakov Amidror, and Prime Minister Netanyahu. The aim was to seek Shas support, which would help bring those Israelis who are against a senseless, aggressive war, to change their position, and support that war. A politically motivated, and insidious scheme to be sure!

This takes the Israelis, with a green light from the U.S. government, one step closer to a an unwarranted attack against Iran; one step that would certainly lead to direct U.S. involvement in that war. That is the plan of course. Either Israel will attack on its own (not really), or some sort of false flag event will lead to the same outcome.

Iran has no nukes, and has not aggressively attacked any other country for hundreds of years. The U.S. and Israel on the other hand, have continually and aggressively attacked country after country, including Iran, and slaughtered many along the way. Should this situation escalate into total war, and that in my opinion is exactly what will happen, this world will dramatically change for the worse.
