The Terrorist State Of America Against Mali And Algeria

By now, most all have heard about the turmoil in Mali and Algeria. Mali and Algeria lie in west and northwest Africa, and Algeria borders Libya. We all know what has happened there this past year due to U.S. involvement.

As the great Eric Margolis said today on Lew Rockwell:

Big irony: the US claimed its energy sources were threatened by instability in the Arab world. So it began exploiting West Africa as a ‘secure alternative.

“Western governments and media have done the public a major disservice by trumpeting warnings of an “Islamic threat” in Mali. It’s as if Osama bin Laden has popped up on the Niger River. Our newest crisis in Africa is not driven primarily by religion but by a spreading uprising against profoundly corrupt, western-backed oligarchic governments and endemic poverty.

Mali’s troubles began last year when its shaky government was overthrown. Meanwhile, heavily-armed nomadic Tuareg tribesmen, who had served Libya’s late Col. Gadaffi as mercenaries until he was overthrown by French and US intervention, poured back into their homeland in Mali’s north. A major unexpected consequence. Fierce Tuareg warriors, who battled French Colonial rule for over a century, were fighting for an independent homeland, known as Azawad.

As has constantly been the case in the Middle East for many decades, many of the problems there have been caused by the west, especially the U.S. The U.S. government and its killing forces are the driving force behind most all the violence there, and since the staged 9/11 “attacks,” the murderous brutality, corruption, occupations, and stealing of natural resources by American forces and its allies has caused an untold amount of pain for the people in that region.

This continues with full force, and now many in this country, especially the warmongering class of politicians and neocons, want U.S. forces to intervene militarily. This is happening already, as U.S. air forces and Special Forces from the “Africa Command” are now in Mali and Algeria. This situation will worsen, and more intervention will be evident in the near term. (Intervening militarily simple means murdering more innocents in the name of protecting us from terrorism.)

The truth of the matter is that the U.S. is the most prolific terrorist state that has ever existed on earth. Any involvement by the U.S. is sure to bring nothing but death and destruction to any who buck this most powerful tyrant of the world. The people of Mali and Algeria are now feeling the wrath of the imperial American monster!
