The Spy and Surveillance State Expands

It is certainly no revelation that the U.S. government spies on people all around the world including Americans, but it is now becoming obvious that the spying and surveillance of American citizens is massive, invasive and involves the communications of all Americans. That is a revelation, and one that Edward Snowden has proven and exposed for all to see.

The fascist U.S. government spies on us not to catch terrorists, but those “boogeymen” are used as an excuse so that the government can spy and control those it really fears, the lowly American citizens. The government’s position is that all of us are potential threats to the status quo, and only the truth need be told for any to become a threat to the evil state.

It is not the foreign “terrorist” who is a threat to the state, as the U.S. state is the most prolific terrorist on earth, it is the truth that can bring down Leviathan. In order for the state to minimize truth telling by whistleblowers, it must eliminate them so that all can see the danger of exposing the criminal activity of the government. Fear is the tool used to silence the serfs and keep them in line, and with the exception of a few, most stay in line for literal fear for their lives.

By now, most know of the NSA’s blanket spying on the entire American population due to Snowden’s revelations, but more and more is being uncovered, and this cannot please the Gestapo like U.S. surveillance state. The FBI has been using a little known provision in the USA PATRIOT Act to secretly spy on and capture private business records of American citizens. There has been a ten fold increase in this data mining just since Obama took office.

This particular spying on U.S. citizens under the “business records provision” of the Patriot Act by the FBI, is so broad and sweeping that it can in effect require the records of millions of private calls to be released to government by telecommunication companies. All of this got the blessing of the corrupt FISA courts, and most all without any justifiable cause.

The corruption is rampant in the government and all its agencies. At this point, it is best assumed that every single form of communication is being captured and stored indefinitely. Considering the gigantic 1.1 million square foot computer storage facility being built in Utah by the NSA, a system that can store at least 5 billion gigabytes, enough to capture all forms of electronic communications for all humanity for the next 100 years, why would anyone doubt that we now are watched and listened to 24 hours a day by government.

From this article on Spiegel Online:

Former NSA employees Thomas Drake and Bill Binney told SPIEGEL in March that the facility would soon store personal data on people from all over the world and keep it for decades. This includes emails, Skype conversations, Google searches, YouTube videos, Facebook posts, bank transfers — electronic data of every kind.

They have everything about you in Utah,” Drake says. “Who decides whether they look at that data? Who decides what they do with it?” Binney, a mathematician who was previously an influential analyst at the NSA, calculates that the servers are large enough to store the entirety of humanity’s electronic communications for the next 100 years — and that, of course, gives his former colleagues plenty of opportunity to read along and listen in.

This is an attempt by the U.S. government to watch and control every single aspect of every individual in this country. It is meant to pave an avenue of surveillance that is so all encompassing that none will have the ability to escape the state’s grasp, and none will be able to expose state secrets.

There is only one solution to what some call a government “overreach.” This is no overreach, this is an attempt by the state and its gendarmes to totally dominate the entire population. The state must be stopped, and that means eliminated or at least severely pared back. It must be made impotent, and therefore it must be castrated of its power!
