Was the initial attack and the continued bombing of innocents in Gaza done for political reasons? That seems to be the case, as the assassinated leader of Hamas in Gaza was ready to sign a truce and ceasefire immediately. With Hamas fully ready to negotiate, why else would Netanyahu escalate aggression into a major conflict?
Justin Raimondo of AntiWar.com has penned another great article explaining the reasons for the attacks by Israel on Gaza. There is much detail and factual evidence to support his positions, and this article is a must read.
Israel is threatening to expand significantly its attack on Gaza, even by sending in ground troops. Israel purposely and aggressively initiated these attacks, and now is wanting to escalate acts of war, by claiming that since Gaza is firing back in defense, although causing virtually no damage, that Israel must protect its citizens. This is akin to murdering someone in cold blood, and then going after the family of the deceased because they try to stop the assault.
Where will this lead? When will the carnage subside?
The victims here are the people in Gaza, and the lead perpetrator of this violence is Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel. This is happening just before the Israeli elections, and Netanyahu’s poll numbers are weaker than expected. He is apparently using this murderous tactic to gain support from voters.
The last thing in the world that Netanyahu wants is peace, for peace does not advance the agenda of the current Israeli “leadership.” Hamas is a useful tool that Netanyahu can use to stir up hatred, and to gain broad support from Israeli citizens for more war. This is a political strategy to help Netanyahu, it is not in the interest of the defense of Israel. Does this sound familiar? It should, because this is the same strategy used by the U.S. government.
This assault on Gaza is heinous, it is immoral, and it is murderous!
