The obnoxious Ted Nugent has spoken, so obviously he has shown the world what an ass he really is. Nothing unusual for Nugent.
He is calling for a public hanging of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev in his column titled: “Time To Stretch Neck Of Jihadist Punk.” Nugent of course has absolutely no information, doesn’t know any facts, and has no knowledge whether Tsarnaev is guilty or innocent. Nugent is calling for his death without any benefit of trial. Since he is a far right-winger, that now one of the government’s criteria of a terrorist, he had better think twice about calling for rights destruction in this manner, because he could be on any government list of possible terrorists.
Nugent is about as classless and obnoxious as is possible, and this statement exposes his repugnant nature.
“My dream of real justice would be a July 4 celebration of stringing this son-of-a-bitch up in the Boston Common and letting the crows pick on his rotting flesh. There will be no swift justice for the Boston voodoo punk. He’s got a long life ahead of him. How pathetic.”
Of course, Nugent isn’t the only “conservative” who wants to destroy the rights of individuals, as several Republicans, you know, those politicians who claim to uphold the Constitution, do as well. From Daniel McAdams’s blog on LRC:
“Authorities have decided to question Tsarnaev, a naturalized American citizen, without reading him his Miranda rights, which isn’t sitting well with some civil rights advocates. However, a group of Republicans said over the weekend that Tsarnaev shouldn’t even have those rights. In a joint statement on Saturday, Senators John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Kelly Ayotte, and Rep. Peter King demanded that he be treated as an ‘enemy combatant.”
Good ole “conservative” American justice; string em up and ask questions later!
