The Obscenity of an Attack on Syria

What is now what I call the United States, that being the U.S. government, the military industrial complex, the war dependent corporations and ALL those who support these abominable institutions, are obviously either ignorant of the truth or devoid of morality.

I read an article this morning by Eric Blair titled: “Dear World, Americans Don’t Want War With Syria” at the Activist Post site. This was called an “Open letter to the citizens of the world about our war-mongering government.” In this article, Blair was attempting to speak for all Americans when he said that that “our” government has gone rogue, and “we” don’t condone what the government is doing, and there is virtually no support for war with Syria. In essence, he was apologizing for all American citizens for the slaughter of innocents around the world. He has not the ability to do this, he can only speak for himself.

The U.S. war machine has been maiming, torturing and murdering those in other lands since almost the beginning, and has affected massive carnage almost continuously for over 100 years. If the average American citizen does not support these wars and occupations, why do they continue unabated with virtually no resistance from the masses? Why do most in the U.S. practice state worship concerning the government and its military on a daily basis? Why do most not only allow this satanic slaughter of innocents, but applaud those who massacre innocents on orders?

The United States is on the verge of attacking militarily the country of Syria, not for the fraudulent idiocy called national security, but for geopolitical and monetary gain through regime change. Causalities are irrelevant to this monster called government, and only the specific agenda of power and domination is considered.

Many are saying today that this war is unnecessary unless it can be proven that the Syrian government is using chemical weapons against its citizens. This statement is not only patently false, but leaves open the opportunity for aggressive war against Syria should the government “claim” to have evidence that Assad is using chemical weapons. It is unlikely that the Syrian government has used these weapons against its own, and very likely that U.S. supported terrorist rebels have done so on orders from Washington D.C., but no war against Syria can be justified or comply with the non-aggression principle.

Regardless whether chemical weapons have been used or not, and at this point, no one knows for sure, it would still be immoral for any U.S. strike against Syria, and any attack would be one of total aggression. I find even the thought of this war wicked and completely hypocritical because no country is more guilty of using weapons of mass destruction, including nuclear and chemical weapons used against innocents, than the United States and its minions of death in the military.

Any attack against Syria by the United States would be obscene, immoral and a war crime. If the American citizens really do not support more war, than where are they? Why aren’t the citizens out in the street demanding that this government step down and face punishment for all its criminal warmongering? Where is the mass outrage when innocents including women and children are slaughtered continuously at the hands of the U.S. government?

This weekend, hundreds of millions of Americans will worship those in the military who are guilty of murder and genocide. They will stand with their hand over their heart and sing the ungodly national anthem at every sporting event, and they will pledge to that flag drenched in the blood of all those murdered by this unholy state. They will happily practice nationalism in mass, and without a thought to all those who have died at the hands of this murderous empire called America!

If Americans are honestly against this government and its wars, they should tear down this evil leviathan called the U.S. government! They should speak out and demand that all wars cease immediately, and that all those guilty of war crimes be brought to real justice.

So I ask again, where are they?
