An article in the Washington Times today, U.S. to leave Iraqi airspace clear for strategic Israeli route to Iran, is telling to say the very least. One could analyze what is going on here in several ways. Maybe the government via the Times is sending a signal to Israel, giving them a green light to attack Iran. However conspiratorial this may sound, it is certainly possible. Think about Sadaam’s attack on Kuwait, for instance.
Iraq does not have an air force to protect its air space, this due of course, to the fact that the U.S. has destroyed Iraq’s air force. This situation could be helpful to those in power, and those war profiteers who support them, as well of course to Israel. If Iraq is to have the capability to defend its airspace, it will have to be reliant on the U.S. There will be infrastructure to rebuild by U.S. contractors, and of course any planes being supplied to Iraq will probably come from U.S. dollars buying planes from U.S. corporations; corporations that depend on government contracts (taxpayer money) and war for their profits.
The sabre rattling continues in earnest by the U.S. and Israel against Iran. I have warned continuously of the very possible horrible consequences of this strategy of attacking Iran. There is nothing to gain for the people of this country, and everything to lose. In addition, it would be another unnecessary and unwarranted aggression, and one that would cause death to not only innocent Iranians, and many others in that region, but also Americans as well.
What is the sense of this madness? Power and money, and strategic positioning for the government and its corporate partners, and great economic loss and blowback that could cause great harm to the American population is the answer to this question.
The elite rich greatly benefit (again) while the rest of us suffer. So what else is new?
But if all is dependent on the U.S. government, and it wants an attack of Iran to take place, all the government has to do is drag its feet long enough for Israeli to start this war; a war that would then involve many countries, several with nuclear capabilities.
Mindless, idiotic, and immoral!
