The Idiots In Washington D.C. Have Bitten Off More Than They Can Chew

I haven’t been writing much about Ukraine and the idiocy that has caused the turmoil there only because so many others have been doing so, and doing a great job. That is to say, all freedom and liberty minded individuals and real journalists, not a single mainstream media source has gotten it right, but then that is not their objective.

The bottom line is that the coup carried out in Ukraine meant to affect regime change, was funded and controlled by the U.S. This has now become evident, and there are plenty of hard facts to support that claim. The Nuland and Pyatt conversation is just one bit of proof, but it is very damning in and of itself. But all of this has been talked about by others, so let us look at some of the possible consequences of this U.S. stupidity.

First, by going into Ukraine to purposely overthrow the democratically elected leader, the U.S. was immediately in the wrong, and was breaking international law in the process. Obama and Kerry today went on national television to claim that Putin was breaking international law, a hypocritical statement as bold as is possible to say the least, but they must know that the state controlled media and the ignorant American citizenry will not call them out on their lies and hypocrisy.

The claim by these liars in Washington is that these poor Ukrainians in Kiev were simply trying to oust a dictator in order to establish democracy. It turns out that many of these U.S. supported dissenters are neo-Nazis and terrorist types. That is little different than the case in the U.S. involvement in Libya and Syria where the U.S. was funding al Qaeda and other terrorists in those coups.

Russia is not anything like the other countries that the U.S, is threatening, and is much more dangerous. The U.S. government has been antagonizing Russia for a long time, maybe due to missing the cold war, but is certainly attempting to gain access to areas bordering Russia so as to get a geopolitical foothold. But even though Putin is not a good guy, he certainly is no fool, and has it seems to me put the U.S. on the defensive, and maybe gotten more control.

Obama has had to back down, but is threatening crippling sanctions on Russia. Putin is already talking with China and Germany, and Europe may or may not go along with these sanctions. Economic sanctions by the way, are an act of war. Putin is now on the offensive, and I believe that he is in a position to cause economic harm to the U.S should these sanctions against Russia go forward. From this article at Yahoo:

“We would find a way not just to reduce our dependency on the United States to zero but to emerge from those sanctions with great benefits for ourselves,” said Kremlin economic aide Sergei Glazyev.

He told the RIA Novosti news agency Russia could stop using dollars for international transactions and create its own payment system using its “wonderful trade and economic relations with our partners in the East and South.”

Russian firms and banks would also not return loans from American financial institutions, he said.

The U.S. economy has never recovered since 2008. Massive amounts of money has been printed out of thin air, the banking system was bailed out at the expense of the taxpayer and the housing market is being held up by the Federal Reserve. The debt has skyrocketed and interest rates have remained at zero. In other words, the U.S. economy is hanging on by a thread, so any major upset to that system could be devastating.

If Putin is able to upset this fragile economy by banding together with other large nations and undermining the dollar, all hell could break loose. These threats by Russia should not be taken lightly, as little in my opinion is necessary to push this economy off the cliff.

What good has come from yet another U.S. intervention? In this case, the risks were and are great, but the U.S. may be forced to back off this time as it looks like Putin is becoming offensive. This U.S. interference in Ukraine risked world war and certainly death and destruction in Ukraine. Already, Ukraine has been turned upside down.

I expect that Obama has been bested here, and hopefully diplomacy will be the answer to avoiding a much worse situation. Obama should not underestimate Russia at this juncture, for to do so could result in war or financial chaos here.
