Karen DeCoster this morning described “The Real Crisis of Corona:”
“Watching and listening to people, I’m hearing this anticipation folks seem to have regarding their Overlords “flicking on” that economy switch. Everyday folks who are not cultivated in economics, finance, or business really do have this misguided sense of optimism. They believe their lives will be right back where it was prior to this government takeover of general, everyday life. They don’t understand that the most visible impacts to the economy will be in the months/years post-Covid closedown as businesses struggle to get back to a position of business volume and/or financial solvency that may never be restored.
And the financial markets, bubbles, and monetary policy aside for a moment, I believe that one of the most pernicious items to consider here is this propagandized, crazed notion of “social distancing (SD).” The socio-psychological ramifications of mask wearing, “mask-shaming,” and the arbitrary “6-foot rule” are going to have a devastating effect on retail, entertainment, hospitality, tourism, and restaurant & beverage … let alone schools, colleges, and the workplace. There is a reason that this idea of SD is shoved in your face everywhere you go and with everything you do. I can’t open my weather app or a newspaper without Covid/SD propaganda screaming at me. I walk 5 miles back into the woods on a trail, and there is the same old SD spin, nailed to a trailside pole. There’s a much larger pattern of destruction going on here.
And then there’s the high likelihood that statewide (or national) shutdowns will be a permanent tool of government policy in order to maintain the control that has been established with the CoronaCrisis.”
Karen is exactly correct, and it is even worse. Every aspect of the American economy will be harmed, and all Americans will be adversely affected for years to come. Most of the medical care across the country has been eliminated or suspended. Cancer screenings, testing, and preventative care is virtually non-existent, and people across the country are suffering.
When the clinics and hospitals open up, which will most likely be partially, they will be flooded with many legitimate patients that have been pushed aside due to this manufactured pandemic, and considering that staffs will still be light, it will be a chaotic scene at medical facilities. All those that were ignored during the past few months will have gotten worse, missed early screenings will have caused increased cancer risk, and advanced cases will have have missed an opportunity to get real care. The death toll will continue to climb due the this horrible government response to a situation most likely purposely created by the U.S. government and its fascist accomplices.
Businesses across the country will have fewer customers due to the “new normal,” and those that were working on tight margins will not only have to deal with the loss of income over the past months, but will not be able to profit in this totalitarian environment.
Sickness and death will expand due to an unbelievable set of circumstances brought about by this government’s lockdown of society. In addition, this will never end, and at every single opportunity, these draconian measures that have been implemented will suddenly become necessary again according to the criminal politicians and their masters.
Other measures such as forced vaccination, social scoring, identity passports (Papers), and surveilling and monitoring every movement will become a normal part of American’s lives, and unless mass resistance is evident, the new normal will look like a dystopian nightmare.
I am not optimistic about the future because gullible Americans are treating this like it is a one time short-lived event, and all will be hunky dory as soon as things open back up. Nothing could be further from the truth. The acceptance of this fallacy by Americans that all will be fine is just a way to once again hide from the truth, while displays of indifference consumes the ignorant masses once again.
