The Deceit And Heartlessness Of The U.S. Military Here At Home

The story that I am going to tell today took place locally, and concerns military deployment and families. This story is real, and in my opinion simply exposes the stark truth that the attitude of the military, which is simply the arm of force for this nation state and its banking and corporate partners, is one of total disregard for those it uses as cannon fodder.

I will not use the names of the particular couple affected by this horrendous military deployment policy, and in fact doubt that they feel the same way as I do about the complete lack of compassion and total disregard displayed by the military today.

Since all who join the military now do so voluntarily, my sympathies in some cases are somewhat subdued, but that does not prevent me from discussing the heartless and uncaring nature of that same beast called the military. Recently, a young married couple just returned home after both were deployed overseas at the same time for these past many months. They were forced to leave their very young children, and travel thousands of miles away to do the bidding of the state.

Fortunately, there was a family member who took charge of these children, but those children lost all physical contact with their parents for a long time. The military you see, saw fit to deploy both the parents of these young children, throwing asunder this family, and without any concern for these heinous actions or possible risk to this family. This was the seventh deployment for the husband, but the first time that both had been required to deploy overseas at the same time.

Of course, the local media spin was one of a wondrous reunion, with all the fanfare expected in this country brainwashed to worship the state, its armies and its murderous wars of aggression. The story told in the local newspaper never once mentioned the fact that the military had ordered and demanded that both these parents leave their children and family behind in order to do the bidding of this imperialistic government monster. There was no mention of the fact that this military has no problem taking away mothers from their young and infant children to send them into harms way without the first thought of the immorality of that action.

I speak with passion about this subject because this also happened with my own daughter. She joined the reserves against my wishes, but told me she was promised that she would never be sent overseas, and that she would never be required to leave her children. I told her immediately that every word from the mouth of the military and the state were lies, and that she could and probably would be sent away from her small children. She believed the lying recruiter and joined anyway, especially with the offer of rewards. Within a short amount of time, she was sent overseas to guard aircraft leaving to bomb innocent Iraq. She was then sent to three other Middle Eastern countries, the last in Bagdad, Iraq during a very dangerous time. She was unmarried at the time of her deployments, so her very young children were forced to be without their mother, but the military had no problem sending her into a war zone.

The military lures the young into joining, and even more the guard or reserves, by offering them what is believed to be easy money. They entice them with promises of a “free” college education, and of course the chance to see the world. Since most Americans almost from birth are inundated with stories of the glory of war and the heroism of warriors, the task of fooling the young into joining the military has become easier to accomplish. Just consider the flag draped football fields, the military parades, the worship given to soldiers in all the media and at every turn.

It is no secret and in fact it is fully understood by most, this due to the U.S. government and the mainstream media’s propaganda, that al Qaeda lures its suicide recruits by offering them 72 virgins, a lie created by Israel by the way. But al Qaeda never offered their recruits $20,000.00 or more and a lifetime of government benefits. That is the way only of the U.S. military, and what I call bribes for lives. Turns out it is actually bribes for the lives of families!
