Syria and Chemical Weapons

Syria has chemical weapons in deep storage according to Jihad Makdissi, a foreign ministry spokesman, but would only consider using them in the event of an external attack. “Mr Makdissi stressed that such weaponry would not be used against the Syrian people.”

According to an article in “The Independent,” Foreign Secretary William Hague, “described the threat to use them as “unacceptable. This is typical of the complete illusion of this regime, that they are the victims of external aggression.”

There are a couple of things wrong here. First, the Syrian government has stated that it would not use these chemical weapons on its citizens. It also said that these weapons would only be used in case of an external attack. The external attack is alive and well, and those so-called Syrian rebels responsible for most of the killing of civilians, are assets funded by the U.S. government and its minions.

In addition, what country on earth has used large amounts of chemical weapons on innocent civilians? The U.S. and its military of course, especially in Vietnam. Not Syria or most any country in the Middle East is guilty of such heinous behavior. The exception to this was Iraq under the leadership of U.S. ally Saddam Hussein, when he used chemical weapons on Iranians on the orders from Washington, D.C. He also used those weapons on his own citizens, the Kurds. All those chemical weapons were supplied to him by the United States.

The hypocrisy here is once again astounding. As the U.S. continues to maim and slaughter people in many countries consecutively, none of which ever attacked or threatened to attack the U.S., Obama continues to threaten others for acts that have been committed for decades by American forces, including dispersing deadly chemical weapons on innocents. In addition, all was done aggressively, and without cause.

Any statement coming from the mouths of lying U.S. politicians or the mouthpiece of same in the mainstream media concerning Syria, should be ignored until if and when it can be factually validated. Don’t expect that validation! Also, any statement about other countries being warred against in the Middle East should be ignored as well!

The U.S. government believes that it has the right to do anything it chooses to, and to condemn any others who might choose the same path. This immoral and nonsensical belief stems from the false notion of “American exceptionalism,” which is nothing more than total unfounded arrogance. American hegemonic desires, backed by a powerful U.S. imperialistic force, is the reason for such arrogance, nothing more!

No chemical or nuclear weapons should be used by any on earth period. In fact, no aggression against any country should ever be evident unless they are under an actual aggressive attack, and then only long enough to stop that threat. If all abided by the non-aggression principle, especially the U.S., wars would cease to exist!
