As one might expect, this was a headline on the Drudge Report this morning. These were just good little “patriots” attempting to worship the state in a manner consistent with nationalism, a most vile belief. That was apparently not acceptable to the government school. Contradictory? Yes. Hypocritical? Yes.
From the story from CBS Minnesota in Red Wing:
“Students said they wanted to show their love for their country, but a superintendent believes it went a little too far.”
This is not an important event in any way, but it showcases some underlying problems. “Public” government schools are nothing more than hotbeds of state indoctrination. Their agenda is to turn out “good little citizens” who will lose their individuality in favor of the collective good. They will lose their individuality in favor of supporting the ruling state apparatus. One look at this story should convince all that the agenda has been accomplished.
So why is the school not applauding the very misguided efforts of “patriotism” by these brainwashed students instead of suspending them? For one, they did not get pre-approved permission to act on their own. That is just not acceptable in a collectivist system such as a government run school.
The only reason this story was highlighted is because it will pit the Republicans against the Democrats, thereby causing a little more divisiveness among the serf like ranks. That is always desired by both sides.
Had the students burned the evil flag of terrorist America I would have applauded them, but alas, they were only attempting an effort of state worship, not any act of real civil disobedience.
This irrelevant story only serves to expose the plight of the dumbed down “public” school attendees, and to give fodder to the left versus right agenda.
