The Army just reported that July of this year saw the most suicides in any single month to date. Thirty eight active duty and reserve soldiers took their own life, and this number does not even count veterans. This is a travesty, but should not be unexpected by sane minds.
So what do those cretins who send other people’s children off to war want to do to combat this epidemic? What does the Army brass have to say about this dire situation? Here is the military solution:
To combat it effectively will require more sophisticated solutions aimed at helping individuals to build resiliency and strengthen their life coping skills. As we prepare for “Suicide Prevention Month” in September, we also recognize that we must continue to address the stigma associated with behavioral health. Ultimately, we want the mind-set across our force and society at large to be that behavioral health is a routine part of what we do and who we are as we strive to maintain our own physical and mental wellness.
This nonsensical claptrap came from the vice chief of the Army, General Lloyd Austin. I’m sure he feels better about himself already, but obviously, this ridiculous politically correct idiocy does absolutely nothing to identify the problem, or solve it.
Those in political power, and the powerful in the military industrial complex like Austin, care nothing for those they choose to send to their death, whether that be due to war or to the consequences of war. The reasons that so many suicides are committed by military members today should be obvious. There will most likely be 300 to 400 suicides, or more, this year alone among Army personnel; this due to what members of the military see and do every day.
Much has to do with the very immoral and heinous orders given to those indoctrinated souls who falsely think they are protecting our freedoms. That of course is a lie! When they carry out these orders, severe mental consequences can result. Watching the maiming, torture, and murder of innocents, women and children included, will in many cases have a very disturbing effect. Losing arms and legs, and becoming fully dependent on others is devastating to say the least. In addition, continuous aggressive wars that result in multiple deployments overseas, can cause panic and fear, and tear apart the very fabric of the family. This leads to divorce, separation from children, and in many cases economic turmoil. When families are torn asunder, depression should be the expected result.
With the Army plan that includes more and more war, more multiple deployments, and a “Suicide Prevention Month” to fix the problem, nothing should be expected but more soldiers taking their own lives, and more destroyed families.
What will become of these tormented young men and women? What will be the long term effects? If the evil U.S. government and its evil military have their way, the children of others will continue to be used as cannon fodder for the nation state of America and its corporate sponsors. They will continue to die for nothing, they will continue to commit suicide, they will continue to lose their families, and they will continue to suffer unmercifully.
Only when the sheep in America refuse to send their children off to die for the state will sanity return. Only when all say no to war will the this needless death and maiming subside.
