If the run up to the 2012 presidential election is already this nauseating, how much worse will it get before next November? Of course Ron Paul is the only sane voice, but he is not allowed to speak.
The republican “debates” would be an exercise of comedic idiocy if in fact these boobs were not attempting to get elected to rule the world. One of them will have a good chance at succeeding in this pursuit. Obama is certainly out-bushing Bush, so of course the republican candidates, with the exception of Ron Paul, are attempting to out-Obama Obama. The result of this could mean more and bigger wars, more torture, more assassination, and more aggression all around the planet.
I am continually amazed when listening to those on the street discussing their favorite candidate. Its as if they just arrived to earth yesterday, and don’t know anything at all about politicians and the lies they continually tell, and have told since the beginning of man. These people actually think they can make a difference by voting into a position of power in staged elections one or another of these cretins. Only the government run “public” school system could have convinced these lemmings of this ridiculous notion. Even many good libertarians are convinced that by voting their guy into office, they could usher in the “change” that would catapult us to freedom and prosperity.
Regardless of who gets elected, the system is so corrupt, and so flawed, that nothing good will come from any of this democratic quackery. Only a change in the hearts and minds of individuals can bring sustainable improvement. That change will have to be based on peaceful behavior by all in an ethical society. That means no forced welfare or redistribution of any kind. That means no tolerance for aggression or war, and no use of force unless for actual self defense. That means self responsibility and self reliance will have to be prevalent amongst the masses.
Does anyone believe that this next election or any election can bring about these things? Of course it can’t! Those of us who will not be voting in the next election, and therefore not legitimizing this horrible political system, will make the biggest statement of all. If none voted, none would be elected. If none were elected, none could rule. If none could rule, we would be free of the “State!”
The time of unbridled chaos is quickly approaching, and at this point, I see nothing to stop it. Instead of worrying about the next political circus, we had best begin to worry about our souls.
