An Arizona man was shot to death while holding his 9 month old grandchild by Scottsdale police officer James Peters on Tuesday. Of course, one of the officers after the shooting claimed that he thought he had seen “something” in the suspect’s hands. He did not actually see anything, but he “thought” he might have seen something, or so he said. That, at least in the minds of police today, is enough evidence to murder an unarmed man carrying an infant.
Mentioned in this story was that during this incident, “officers also escaped unharmed. The man who was killed had no weapon of any kind in his possession, so why would they have been harmed? But the report for some reason completely foreign to me, stated that he did have weapons in his house. Is that the same thing? Because if it is, I could be shot by police at any given moment just due to the fact that I have a weapon in my house.
The bottom line of this story is that the police officer who shot the unarmed victim in the head while he was holding a baby, has shot 6 others in just the past nine years. Six of these shootings have now resulted in death. The police brass stated that Peters was “a good officer,” and that every shooting he had been involved in “was justifiable.” Of course they were?
Why do I find this to be unbelievable? I find it unbelievable because the exact same thing will be said about this shooting after a faux investigation by the very same police department that was responsible for committing this crime. This is the way of today’s out-of-control police all across this country.
This shooting took place in Maricopa County, a hotbed of police abuse in the past and present. This particular officer has shot several people in just the past few years, and he has received medals for doing so. He seems to shoot first, and ask questions later, but the police investigating seem not to ask many questions themselves.
Who will be the next murder victim of this donut eating cretin?
