Panetta The Coward

U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta visited Afghanistan in the aftermath of the brutal murders committed by an American soldier recently in southern Afghanistan. He is there to once again apologize, (but no real apology was forthcoming) not to the families of those slaughtered, but to the U.S. puppet “leader,” President Hamid Karzai. His false so-called condolences ring hollow in the wake of continued atrocities committed at the hand of U.S. soldiers. In fact, Panetta said:

We will be challenged by our enemies, we will be challenged by ourselves, we will be challenged by the hell of war itself. “War is hell,” he said. These kinds of events and incidents are going to take place, they’ve taken place in any war, they’re terrible events, and this is not the first of those events, and it probably will not be the last.” He added: “But we cannot allow these events to undermine our strategy.”

He is in essence saying that this is normal, and to expect more murders, while at the same time advocating more war on these people. As far as I’m concerned, he has no soul!

Panetta’s  hypocrisy and cowardice are truly evident here. While he is one of the people responsible for the continued carnage in Afghanistan, and all over the rest of the world as well, he travels to this destroyed country under heavy guard to speak to an installed puppet leader at a very fortified U.S. Marine base. Even with all his security, all U.S. military personnel attending this charade were ordered to come inside unarmed. Apparently, Panetta was afraid of his own troops! This is so telling.

While he sends other people’s children to Afghanistan, to either kill Afghan children, or be killed themselves, he will only travel there under heavy security, and will only show himself when all his “own” men are unarmed. What a pathetic display of cowardice, but so appropriate, for this simply exposes him for the chicken hawk he truly is!
