Obama Declares War On Russia

Today, President Obama signed an executive order to impose certain restrictions on Russians and Crimeans, and is imposing sanctions on those the U.S. government claims are guilty of “undermining democratic processes” in Ukraine.

Restrictions and sanctions that are levied on sovereign countries, or any country for that matter, are acts of war. The U.S. sanctions other countries at the drop of a hat, sanctions that can cause great harm or economic suffering or worse. While ground troops are not on their way to Russia, sanctions could cause all sorts of harm, and the result could easily be that Russia would attempt to harm the U.S. economically. I wrote about this just recently here. The worst case obviously is that these kinds of aggressive maneuvers could actually lead to war.

Most everything uttered by Obama this morning concerning the situation in Ukraine and Russia was a lie. Actually, Obama unknowingly condemned the U.S. and his own administration by defining actions of support for those wanting to affect regime change in Ukraine as breaking international law. Since the U.S. was the largest instigator, supporter and supplier of funds for this upheaval in Ukraine, he was condemning himself and the U.S. government.

In addition to Obama’s reckless abandon in going after Russia by issuing this executive order, which is  is none of the United States business by the way, Obama has also authorized the U.S. military to begin “air policing” missions in the Baltic. Every aggressive step taken could lead closer to war, and war with Russia would not only be tragic, it could be world threatening. This posturing over Ukraine has nothing to do with U.S. national security, nor is there any risk of attack on the U.S. This is simply political, but could escalate into a very dangerous situation if not stopped immediately.

Obama has condemned Russia for breaking international law by invading Crimea and harming the “democratic” process. The U.S. not only funded the rebels that overthrew the Ukrainian government, a government that was democratically elected, but it also planned this coup well in advance. Now Obama is supporting the rebels who violently overthrew an elected government, and demanding that Putin bow to their rules. That will not happen.

It is the U.S. government that should be held accountable here, and virtually everything being reported by government and its mainstream media are nothing but lies and propaganda.

Putin is no less a monster than any other ruler, and probably worse than most, and he never should have invaded Crimea in order to retake that ground. Regardless, it still is none of the business of the U.S., especially given that the Ukrainian regime change operation was a United States government planned coup.

These threats by the likes of Obama and Kerry could lead to unintended consequences that could cause hell on earth. These political games can get out of control very quickly, and war could be the result. None of us can afford such an outcome.
