It’s just another day in Afghanistan, that war that is supposed to be over after 13 years of maiming, killing and property destruction, when one woman was badly injured and seven children were executed, or as NATO explained, they were “inadvertently killed.”
I often wonder if the U.S. were actually attacked on its mainland, something that has never occurred in history, if American families when their children were being “inadvertently killed” by foreign soldiers would accept that as a valid reasoning or excuse. Certainly they should given that they accept it for the children of others, shouldn’t they?
This murder happened as a result of an American bombardment of a residential neighborhood of civilians. The normal flag waving American will most likely pass over this news as it is just collateral damage, and would say that those kids should not have been in their homes last night in the first place. And besides, are they even human?
Most of these bombings that kill civilians, (in reality, all people in Afghanistan should be considered civilians since they are defending themselves from imperialistic aggression) are said to be accidental. These “accidental killings” by the way, are planned and executed on explicit orders from the military brass, and voluntarily and willingly carried out by those who receive these orders. Accidental? Not on your life!
When the attack that was initiated by the U.S. was in process, NATO’s International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said that:
“An enemy force engaged Afghan and coalition forces from several compounds,” it said. “Afghan and coalition forces returned fire and required defensive air support to suppress the enemy fire.”
Actually, the U.S. and NATO forces aggressively bomb a civilian neighborhood killing children, and when return fire as self defense occurs, it is from the “enemy?” It seems to me that the enemy is “us.” This is what passes for justification of the outright murder of innocent people by American forces, simply anyone attempting to protect himself and his family from violent aggression by the U.S and its coalition forces.
The U.S. is still attempting to bribe the Afghan puppet government to sign its phony “bilateral security agreement” so that American troops can continue killing innocent Afghan families. If the puppet Karzai signs the agreement extending the U.S. occupation, he (Afghanistan?) will get billions more American tax dollars for his cooperation. This bribe is called by government “aid.”
Once again the most prolific terrorist country in the world, the United States of America, continues its bloody assault on innocent people in Afghanistan, most of the rest of the Middle East and northern Africa. Will this terror ever cease, and will the masses in America ever openly condemn even one more senseless killing of foreigners who are absolutely no threat to the U.S.? I will not hold my breath.
