Israel Drawn Into Syrian War?

Israel claimed that a Syrian mortar round accidentally landed in the Golan Heights near a military post, so the Israeli military fired “warning shots” into Syria. If it was a “errant” round as stated, why shoot back at all?

Considering all that has been happening, and the fact that Israel and the U.S. have sided with the terrorists in Syria posing as rebels, what is really going on? Both Israel and the United States want to end the reign of Assad in Syria. This is no secret. But Assad and his father who ruled before him have not done anything to aggress against Israel in almost four decades. So why is Israel so fearful now?

Some irony here is that the post that Israel claims the errant mortar round landed close to, was one Israel captured (stole) from Syria during the 1967 Mideast war. Israel then kept that stolen property and annexed it.

Israel is claiming that errant fire coming from Syria lately is coming from Assad’s government forces, but most every incident where shelling from Syria has caused damage across the border in Turkey and elsewhere has actually been from rebel forces. Many believe, as I do, that these events were planned in advance to be made to look like the Syrian government was responsible. In other words, some or many of these events were actually false flags meant to purposely raise the tension. This tactic is used mainly by those countries like the U.S. and Israel to solidfy the people’s support of more war. In the case of Syria, this could lead to war with Iran, something both the U.S. and Israeli government’s desire. So what is really happening, and can anything coming from the Israeli government or press be believed?

So how is the evil Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responding to this accidental mortar landing in the Golan Heights? He said that Israel is “closely monitoring” the border with Syria and is “ready for any development.” In other words, he is preparing for, and threatening to some extent, to go to war against Syria.

In this case, Israel would be biting off more than it could chew, as any attack against Syria, or Iran for that matter, would cause other countries in the region to come into that war against Israel. Israel needs the military support of the U.S., and I would expect that when the timing seems appropriate for these two aggressors, that the U.S. will be involved. That will lead to disaster in my opinion.

Do any still believe that more imperialism and war are the answer to the world’s problems? The United States and its partner Israel are now contemplating a great expansion of war in the Middle East. That would be devastaing for all in that region, but it would also prove to be very devastaing to the the citizenry of the U.S. as well.
