Where is Edward Snowden? So far, he has completely made fools of the U.S. “intelligence” state. U.S. “intelligence” is the most invasive all inclusive spy network on earth, but it fails nearly 100% of the time. It’s pursuit of Edward Snowden, at least so far, has been just as inadequate as its so-called efforts in stopping “terrorism,” but I hope that ineptitude continues unabated.
There have been many stories as to the whereabouts of Snowden, but none so far have turned out to be true, or at least none have been proven. I don’t think a search for Hitler, Mao or Castro would garner as much attention as has the manhunt for Edward Snowden, and that is very telling.
Of course, Hitler, Mao or Castro were not so much a threat to the political establishment as is Snowden. He is telling the truth, is exposing criminal behavior by government and is willing to risk his own life to do the right thing. Hitler and the like were much like those now in government, almost birds of a feather if you will, so they would never be sought after in the same manner as is going on today concerning this heroic whistleblower.
Now there are those state controlled ignoramuses like Meet The Press host David Gregory, who ask why Glenn Greenwald should not be charged with a felony for simply reporting the truth about the NSA spying. This of course is not uncommon, and in fact is the norm, but it does expose that the mainstream media is not only in bed with government and the state, but promotes the state agenda without question.
In my opinion, there is a better chance than not that Edward Snowden will at some point be captured by the U.S. police state. We can only pray that Snowden continues to expose the illegal criminal activities of this tyrannical government, and does so quickly. The more revelations about these abuses the better, as Snowden will gain more and more supporters. If he is caught, that support will be crucial, because if this government is given any chance, he will be brutalized or murdered.
His fate should he be caught is bleak. He could be assassinated by drone before capture or murdered immediately thereafter. Should he turn himself into the authorities, it is most likely that he will be indefinitely detained, tortured or worse. Should he face trial, I doubt that he would physically be able to do so, for this government cannot afford for the lowly American people to hear the whole truth. Just consider Bradley Manning or Dzhokhar Tsarnaev? Manning has been brutalized for three years, and no one seems to even know or care of the whereabouts of Tsarnaev. He is most likely dead or brain dead.
In a free society, Snowden would be hailed as a hero, and given the key to the country. But we live in a fascist oligarchy, and one that is now a total police state. This is what tyranny looks like, but it can and will get much worse.
It is Edward Snowden versus the United States government. We can only hope for a Snowden victory!
