It seems it never ends and never has, that being U.S. intervention, many times violent intervention in Latin American affairs. This is no “conspiracy theory,” this is reality.
The U.S. through its politicians, its military, the CIA, NSA, DEA, and on and on, have continuously attempted and many times succeeded in brutalizing other countries for its own interests. Latin America has been an ongoing target for U.S. hegemony since the mid-1800s, and continues today.
The latest target is Venezuela and its president, Nicolás Maduro Moros. This article is not meant to support Maduro, or any other politician or ruler of any country, but is meant to expose the ruthless and heartless intrusion by U.S. rulers to serve themselves and their elite banking and corporate controllers behind the scenes. This interference is always the most harmful to the innocent citizens, but that is of no concern to the ruling class, as they are simply a waste of humanity bent on expanding their already excessive power.
Of course all the atrocities committed in these coup attempts, overthrows, and wars are said to be in the interest of national security, but that has never been the case and never will be the case. Concerning Venezuela, one only need to look at the oil reserves there, something the U.S. wants to control at any cost. U.S. intentions are centered around theft, greed, power, money, and geopolitical control, nothing more. These are the acts of those in control of what is still falsely considered a free country.
Today’s news will be forgotten or hidden tomorrow, but what is happening now is normal procedure for this dictatorial behemoth called America. The current political ruler, Trump, has chosen his own president for Venezuela. Arrogance and ego at this level are extremely dangerous and of course hypocritical beyond words. In addition, U.S. officials at the top of Trump’s administration have lobbied, ordered in other words, the Bank of England to withhold Venezuela’s own gold, refusing to hand it over upon request. That is theft, and could be considered an act of war, but the mighty U.S. and Britain have little to fear from those it abuses in Latin America.
But those backing Maduro are mainly Russia and China, so this American interference, including horrible sanctions that harm all Venezuelans, just escalates already strained relationships with these major powers. This is happening due to aggressive U.S. foreign policy. While the Venezuelan people starve, and apathetic U.S. citizens sit on their butts playing video games, the world is becoming a much more dangerous place, a ticking time bomb.
Any continuation of these antagonistic acts by the U.S. could place its citizens in a super-power crossfire. The more that tensions escalate, the more likely hot tempers and aggressive rhetoric could cause an international military incident. This is much more dangerous than it appears, and could prove deadly in the future.
