A report released to the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) exposed that the Customs & Border Protection Agency (CPB) is now planning to expand dramatically the number of drones it is using, and is also considering adding weapons to those domestic Predator drones.
Currently, these weapons are to be “non-lethal, (consider the “non-lethal” tasers) but it will only be a matter of time until the next step toward lethal weapons comes to fruition. Obama has said that domestic drones would never be armed, but in only a short amount of time, it has been proven that consideration for arming domestic drones has been in the planning stage for some time.
This does not surprise me, as I thought all along that arming domestic drones for use by the militarized police and all other government agents of force was imminent. In fact, I don’t think there was ever any question that the intended end result of government was to arm domestic Predator drones in the name of “keeping us serfs safe.”
If the immigration bill passes, it is a foregone conclusion that a massive expansion of drone numbers and use will take place, and arming those deadly weapons will be the next obvious ploy by the U.S. government in order to take complete control of the entire population.
With 30,000 drones coming on line for use domestically in the next few years, how will the people respond to many thousands of those armed killing machines flying over our homes, towns and cities for unwarranted surveillance and police “enforcement?” How will the sheep react to this government’s Hitler style Stasis armed with the “legal” authority to take down any “target” at its dictatorial discretion?
Should this concern Americans? No, it should terrify them!
