The media has been buzzing lately due to the very “inappropriate” behavior of CIA and other military personnel in Cartagena, Columbia. There were prostitutes involved when the military was sent to support the CIA at the Summit of the Americas. This threatened to upset the Obama visit this weekend. But why?
General Douglas Frasier, commander of the Southern Command, something that should not even exist, said that he was “disappointed by the entire incident and that this behavior is not in keeping with the professional standards expected of members of the United States military.” And what are those professional standards?
The CIA and the United States military are continually responsible for the most heinous acts imaginable. These acts include spying, warrantless wiretaps, kidnapping, rendition, torture, indefinite detention, rape, murder, and aggressive occupying wars. But for some reason, when they get caught having sex with prostitutes, this is supposed to be embarrassing to the U.S. That is one of the most incredible statements that I can imagine!
God forbid that Obama be embarrassed when military types drop their drawers and wag their so-called manhood at the sight of a staged political event. Obama has continually destroyed this economy, has spent trillions in deficits, claims the “legal” right to indefinitely detain and assassinate American citizens, and has acted as dictator for the past three years. He has expanded the imperial war state, attacked innocent countries, and been responsible for the death and displacement of hundreds of thousands of innocent people. But it is said that he might be embarrassed by the normal behavior of his fodder, fodder that does as they are ordered to, regardless of the beastly and immoral nature of their crimes.
Their is a disconnect of magnificent proportion here, and it is obvious that it is not the common acts of cretins in the military that is the problem, but it is that these criminals in uniform have to be worshiped by the American sheep. Otherwise, those apathetic sheep might not go along with the government’s plans to murder and slaughter innocents worldwide in the name of corporate profits.
The media explanation of these events in Cartagena makes me sick to my stomach, but my guess is that few will see the truth of this fakery. The military is guilty of this kind of behavior not less than the rest of this selfish society, but probably much more. This is not unusual, other than they got caught this time before it could be covered up.
It is imperative that thinking individuals not get caught up in the hype of so-called professionalism, and concentrate on the horrible crimes, real crimes, that are committed by the military on a daily basis. The criminal and murderous quest that the U.S. military pursues is the real story here, not the sexual indiscretions of some of its low class members!
