The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is in the process of purchasing another 750 million rounds of ammunition for domestic use. This is in addition to the 450 million rounds of man killing hollow point bullets purchased earlier this year by this same government agency.
This can only mean that the DHS is anticipating massive civil unrest in the future, but with the purchase of 1.2 billion rounds of ammo, what exactly are they planning? That equates to almost 4 bullets for every American citizen!
While the ammo purchases are supposedly earmarked for training, the DHS has not clarified why so many rounds, and so many powerful killing rounds are necessary. Given that the DHS has recently been buying riot gear and bullet-proof checkpoint booths, their claims that this huge amount of ammo purchases are for training purposes only rings hollow. And considering that the Army is now buying similar equipment, the situation becomes ominous.
According to a story on Infowars by Paul Joseph Watson:
“A recently leaked US Army Military Police training manual for “Civil Disturbance Operations” outlines how military assets are to be used domestically to quell riots, confiscate firearms and even kill Americans on U.S. soil during mass civil unrest. On page 20 of the manual, rules regarding the use of “deadly force” in confronting “dissidents” are made disturbingly clear with the directive that a, “Warning shot will not be fired.”
The possibility of civil unrest and Martial Law are now not simply the rantings of conspiracy theorists, but a very real possibility. In my opinion, it is much more likely than not in the future. My belief is that an economic collapse will bring this civil unrest about, and in turn, state violence against its citizenry. With the now militarized local and state police, the reserves, and the regular military preparing for such an event, caution by all should be the rule.
In the report mentioned above, Lt. Col. Nathan Freir said that “Widespread civil violence inside the United States would force the defense establishment to reorient priorities in extremis to defend basic domestic order and human security.” He added that “the military may be needed to quell “purposeful domestic resistance.”
Scary times are ahead, and the government, its agencies, and its agents of force are preparing for the worst. The sheep, on the other hand, continue to be apathetic and complacent; as if awaiting the slaughter!
