Can it get worse? Of course it can and will, but any limit to abuse by police seems now to be non-existent.
In the southern New Mexico town of Deming, David Eckert, a resident of Lordsburg, had just finished shopping at the local Wal-Mart when he slowly pulled into traffic on his way home. A police cretin, who was either watching for hardened shopping criminals or seeking to extort revenue from the citizenry, thought that Eckert did not come to a totally complete stop before entering the highway. This led to Eckert being stopped for a seemingly innocuous offense by the police officer.
What happened next is not only hard to believe, but brutally invasive and criminal. David Eckert was told to get out of his car, and when he exited, the police said he looked like he was clenching his buttocks. They then got a warrant from a complicit and corrupt judge, and what followed was horrifying.
Steve Watson wrote an article for Prison Planet and explains the events that followed:
The medical report released as part of the case indicates that police ordered doctors to x-ray Eckert’s abdominal area. When no drugs were discovered, they asked doctors to perform an examination of Eckert’s anus with their fingers. Again no drugs were found. Police ordered a second anal exam, which again turned up nothing.
The doctors are then said to have penetrated Eckert’s anus and inserted an enema.
“Eckert was forced to defecate in front of doctors and police officers. Eckert watched as doctors searched his stool. No narcotics were found.” the report adds.
This process was then repeated a second and THIRD time, still turning up nothing but the obvious.
Then another x-ray was carried out on Eckert, again turning up nothing, before Eckert was sedated and subjected to a colonoscopy, involving inserting a camera into his anus, rectum, colon, and large intestines.
After nothing was found this time, the cops gave up.
This was no ordinary assault, but was one that was both humiliating and surgically invasive, and it lasted for 14 hours. After this criminal assault by police and doctors at the Gila Regional Medical Center in Silver City finally ended, Eckert was billed thousands of dollars for all of these “medical procedures” by the hospital. No procedure was authorized by Mr. Eckert, and he physically resisted all that he could. In other words, these anal probes, x-rays, enemas and the colonoscopy were done by brute force and against the will of the victim.
A lawsuit has been filed against the 6 police officers, three doctors, the city of Deming and the hospital in question. All should face criminal assault charges and be sentenced, forced to pay massive restitution and jailed, but that will not happen. Even if Mr. Eckert rightfully wins his suit, the police and doctors will most likely face no charges, and any payment will come out of the pockets of taxpayers, not out of the pockets of those who committed this crime.
Police brutality and much worse is occurring every single day around this country. It is getting more and more common all the time, and nothing is being done to stop it. In fact, the State is using extreme measures to not only protect the police and their accomplices, but also to encourage this kind of sick and barbarous behavior.
It is time to put a stop to this insanity by whatever means are available to the lowly citizen serf!
Government is in the last resort the employment of armed men, of policemen, gendarmes, soldiers, prison guards, and hangmen. The essential feature of government is the enforcement of its decrees by beating, killing, and imprisoning. Those who are asking for more government interference are asking ultimately for more compulsion and less freedom. ~Ludwig von Mises
