Edward Snowden is still miles ahead of the U.S. “intelligence” machine.
Glenn Greenwald, who first published Snowden’s story in the Guardian, told The Daily Beast today that Edward Snowden has taken precautions to assure that all the material he has about the NSA’s spying will still be made public even if ‘something were to happen to him.’
Snowden has given the encoded files to an undisclosed number of people, and if something happens to him, those encrypted files will be unlocked so that all the archives can be opened and published. I said yesterday that I hoped he would get out all the information soon, and this should guarantee that all the damning information will be made public.
Edward Snowden is not only a hero for liberty, he is a very intelligent hero who is one step ahead of the criminal state. When he said the “Truth is coming and cannot be stopped,” this was what he meant.
Also, let none forget what Glenn Greenwald has done by printing Snowden’s story. He has put himself directly in the crosshairs of the U.S. government and its police state henchmen. His reporting is an act of great bravery. There will be attempts to surveil all that he says and does, and he could in the future face the wrath of the criminal state.
When next the term hero or patriot is brought up, both Edward Snowden’s and Glenn Greenwald’s names should be at the top of that list!
